The train wreck that is the Washington Redskins

Very funny sign! Good work, 'Skins fans! Too bad this got you kicked out of the stadium because Dan Snyder is now controlling free speech.

Still, is Snyder the one to blame? He throws money at problems and makes some costly signings, yet are you complaining about Albert Haynesworth, D.C.? Think Zorn might be the right scapegoat in this situation.

There is talent on this team. Sorta. More than a lot of the better teams in this league. Yet the Redskins, along with the Raiders, are the most hopeless organization in football.

But clever fans. Yeah, bring out the paper bags next home game! Though the sign police might make you switch to plastic...

Among people who work in sports, the people that are best at their jobs are those who realize that they are no longer fans. Given that I think I'm the superstar, I've never had a problem. But, it's harder than it seems, apparently. I'm sure that is lost on Snyder just as I'm sure that he's only not a fan when yelling at his subordinates.

Suing season ticket holders is my favorite part of the Snyder regime.

Living in Skins country is unbearable. What can't be beat though is the daily trashing of Lil' Danny on the local sports radio station. Oh yeah, Snyder owns that too. Yay for "Red Zebra" broadcasting!

The reason that Snyder IS to blame is that he continues to employ the grossly incompetent, quasi-GM Vinny Cerrato. Why does he continue this? Because Cerrato allows Snyder to play fantasy football with a real NFL roster, whereas any other GM with a pair of testicles would slap Snyder's hand every time he tried to touch the roster. The O-line was the weakest part of the team last year, and they have plugged those holes with...undrafted free-agents and guys that have been out of the leauge for a couple years. WTF anybody? And you can go ahead and use Zorn as a scapegoat, but who made the absurd decision to hire him? Snyder, that's who. A lifetime position coach, who has never called a play in an NFL game in his life , is suddenly thrust in as a head coach and a play caller. And his staff was already in place. Whatever the opposite is, of having gravitas - that's what Zorn has. And yes,it is all Dan Snyder's fault!
