In other news, Beethoven told to stop composing

By now you've probably seen this story. You know, the one about the 9-year-old pitcher in Connecticut who was told to stop pitching because he was too good (that's him over there). This is ridiculous. What's he supposed to do? Move to another town where the other kids aren't so damn crappy? Maybe these wimps should suck it up and learn to hit some real pitching. Maybe these parents should get over themselves. I got it, tell a bunch of kids that are lousy to stop playing because they're not good enough. Wouldn't that be nice? Idiots.

This just in: I.M. Pei told to stop designing buildings, Ron Jeremy told to stop fucking, and God asked (very politely) to stop being so almighty.

This is what happens when the "feel good" mantra permeates society. The effort to neutralize anyone who is good, successful, smart, or proficient has worked its way into little league sports. People have learned, thanks mostly to liberals who preach gov't is the solution to our problems, people have learned that crying to higher authority instead of dealing with the challenge yourself, is the way to go. "Whaaaaaaaa, it's not fair, that person is richer/smarter/a better athlete/ than me!!!!!!! I don't want to get off my ass and do anything about it, I want the government/school/local athletic association to do something about it. Waaaaaaaaaa! I'm a pussy!"

But does the kid give good head?

I do get out and see this everyday. Anyone who doesn't see this either:
1) is part of the problem
2) needs to open his eyes

He tops out at 40mph as a 90 year old. That isn't even that fast. My son is in a league with 6 to 8 year olds with a pitching mchine set between 36 and 38 mph. I know live pitching is harder, as the ball moves everywhere. I am sure the 9-10 year division of my son's league has a pitcher on every team that pitches 40 or faster, easily.

This is really just a political thing. The defending champs asked him to be on their team and he refused. Now that team is causing the trouble. "If we can't have him, nobody will. Waaaaaa!"

Unbelievable!

40 mph for a nine year old is not exceptional. My 10 year olds had to throw 50 mph to not get seriously knocked around and near 60 mph to be a strong pitcher. We set our pitching machine for 2nd graders at 40 mph in our association.

It turns out the kid actually plays in a more competitive league as well. And that this league offered to move him up to a more competitive league and his parents said no. To me this sounds like BS. If you are too good you move up, not sue for not being able to play.
