Ughh, that's a pretty quick response. It's like the Cold War, only the parties involved are actually doing stuff.
Remember, though, these are the Cubs, and this is Rich Harden we're talking about. We see this going only one way:
Two on, two out in the third. Cubbies lead Philadelphia 1-0 in Game 2 of the NLCS. Harden winds up and the pitch...low and away.A strained fucking shoulder. Enjoy Harden, Chicago!
Harden's holding his arm. Here comes the trainer. Rich is coming out of the ballgame. Looks like a strained shoulder.
You're up, St. Louis.

I thought the A's were giving up on the season. Maybe they made the right move.
They traded their #1 in the middle of a playoff push...you've got to think that they know something we don't.
I am not so sure Harden is just Mark Prior in disguise. He has been on the DL nine times in five years. I am not convinced the Cubs are going to win anything this year
losing Gaudin in the deal is huge. He said he wanted to start instead of being in the bullpen, but I don't see the Cubs putting him in the rotation unless someone gets hurt.
My Cubbies did the right thing. Harden's 5-1 with a 2.34 ERA this season. He has GOT to stay healthy though. I don't think he's Mark Prior in disguise, that collision with Marcus Giles appears to have ended his career. It was a great move and the only move.
