ReplyDeleteFor example, I tried to get an interview with Vin Scully from the Dodgers...as soon as I said I was a blogger, the PR person turned me down...

1 more thing....I agree with you 100% when you stated that it feels good to see comments left or to know people are reading your work....I agree 100%!!!!....when i first started blogging even some of my friends didn't read my stuff -- I just felt I was wasting my time....

ReplyDeleteshall we all go hold hands and sing kumbaya together? anywhoo, for rstiles, i actually used to work for the dodgers PR department (haha, could've been me turning you down! j/k) but don't take that as a slight to bloggers. ALL interview requests for Vin Scully get turned down. He just doesn't do them, for ANYONE because he gets too many requests. That's something I learned early on, so don't take it as a sign to bloggers.
